Well we played 11 holes last night at River Run. The West course was pretty nice. Some of the greens needed some work, but overall it was a quality course. It was also my brother-in-law’s first real course and he played great. A 54 on the front for a first time is excellent. Infact it was less than me. Rodney also had a great day collecting his first three pars. With a 50 overall. That is another impressive total.

The price was right on a weekend after 4pm, we paid $18 with cart. That is not bad at all, especially since Maxwell wouldn’t let my nephew on the course.

The course was not extremely challenging with few bunkers or water hazards on the front 9, however we did not see 11-17. They did have a good mix of par 5s and par 3s which makes it more fun.

Overall, I give the course a 6 on my scale of 1 to 10.
